Grape/Blend: 100% estate grown Cabernet Sauvignon from Morro d’Oro and Notoresco in the province of Teramo. Vineyards have a south/southeast exposure and average altitude of 300 meters o.s.l. Calcareous-clay soils.
Wine-making Process: Soft pressing is followed by maceration for about 15 days. After racking, the wine rests in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature (20-22°C) and then completes the alcoholic and malolactic fermentation. The wine is racked and then bottled; followed by bottle refining
Tasting Notes: The color is ruby red tending to garnet. Aromas of cherry jam, black currant, blackberry, plum and pepper with subtle hints of tobacco. Rich and smooth on the palate with a dry, persistent finish.
