Cabernet Sauvignon IGP Colli Aprutini | Miele di Roccia

The color is ruby red tending to garnet. Aromas of cherry jam, black currant, blackberry, plum and pepper with subtle hints of tobacco. Rich and smooth on the palate with a dry, persistent finish.

Grape/Blend: 100% estate grown Cabernet Sauvignon from Morro d’Oro and Notoresco in the province of Teramo. Vineyards have a south/southeast exposure and average altitude of 300 meters o.s.l. Calcareous-clay soils.

Wine-making Process: Soft pressing is followed by maceration for about 15 days. After racking, the wine rests in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature (20-22°C) and then completes the alcoholic and malolactic fermentation. The wine is racked and then bottled; followed by bottle refining
