Gandin Wines was born and developed in the low plains of Friuli Venezia Giulia, in an area enveloped to the north by the sharp Friulian Dolomites, by the nearest and fertile hills of Gorizia and to the south by the Gulf of Trieste whose breeze blows constant on the 13 hectares of vineyard where the estate develops.
We are located in the DOC Friuli Isonzo area, on the left bank of the homonymous river, an area highly suited to quality viticulture thanks to the pedo-climatic characteristics that make its territory unique. The breezes brought by the Gulf of Trieste, the Bora wind that descends from the Julian Alps, touching the Friulian Dolomites and the calcareous and gravelly soil give part of the distinctive and unreproducible features of this Denomination. The wines that come from this land are distinguished by a refined freshness, balanced minerality and elegance.
In this precious part of Italy, the Gandin Farm carries on its winemaking philosophy while respecting the rich wine culture that Friuli Venezia Giulia gives us, obtaining quality wines capable of enhancing the uniqueness of this territory.
